1. How can I complete the mandatory Pre-departure Medical Examination?

Click here for all information regarding the Pre-departure Medical Examination requirements and process. For any other queries, contact the medical-certificates.gva@geneva.msf.org 

2. How long is my Pre-departure medical fitness certificate valid?

If you are FIT with no health conditions and less than 50 years old, your certificate is valid for 2 years from the issued date of the certificate.

If you are FIT with health conditions and/or older than 50 years, your certificate is valid for 1 year from the issued date of the certificate. 

3. I am having difficulty finding vaccines

If you are having difficulties finding vaccines: please contact medical-certificates.gva@geneva.msf.org for support. 

The Staff Health Unit OCG has developed a new GeoApp to support you in locating health and vaccination facilities close to your location to complete your Pre-departure medical examination and Vaccinations. Coming soon - watch this space!
